Draft for review
This document is a working draft and is not yet legal advice. It is being reviewed by qualified counsel and may change before it is final.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Onbramble Inc. (“Bramble,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your use of the Bramble mobile app and onbramble.com (the “Service”). Please read them carefully. They include a “NOT FINANCIAL ADVICE” disclaimer, subscription and billing terms, disclaimers of warranties, a limitation of liability, and a dispute-resolution section. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By creating an account, downloading, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms take effect on July 24, 2026.
2. Eligibility
To use Bramble, you must be at least 18 years old, be a resident of the United States (the Service is US-only at launch), and be able to form a binding contract. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.
3. The Service — a read-only tracker & education tool
Bramble helps you see your finances in one place: net-worth tracking, savings goals (“pots”), spending and “money leak” insights, debt-payoff tracking, and financial education (“Money School”). Bramble aggregates information from accounts you choose to connect on a read-only basis.
4. NOT FINANCIAL ADVICE
No fiduciary or advisory relationship is created between you and Bramble by your use of the Service.
5. Accounts & security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity under it. Protect access with the device and app security available to you, including your device passcode and any PIN or biometric (Face ID / Touch ID) lock Bramble offers. Notify us promptly at support@onbramble.com if you suspect unauthorized use. You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
6. Bank connections via Stripe
If you choose to link a financial account, you authorize Bramble and our provider Stripe Financial Connections to access, on a read-only basis, information such as account balances and transactions from that account, in order to provide the Service. You represent that you are authorized to link the account.
- Bramble requests only balances and transactions;
- Bramble does not receive your banking login credentials and cannot move money;
- you can disconnect an account at any time in the app.
Aggregated data is provided by your financial institutions and third parties. We do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or availability, and it should not be relied upon as an official record. Always check with your financial institution for authoritative balances.
7. Subscriptions, free trial & billing
Plans
Bramble offers a paid subscription at $4.99/month or $39.99/year (prices in USD; taxes may apply).
Free trial
New subscriptions may start with a 3-day free trial, which you activate during onboarding. You will not be charged during the trial. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it will automatically convert to a paid subscription and your payment method will be charged.
Auto-renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) at the then-current price, unless you cancel beforehand. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
Billing through the Apple App Store
Payment is processed by Apple through your App Store account, and is subject to Apple's terms. Managing and canceling your subscription is done through Apple.
How to cancel
Refunds
Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, and refunds are handled by Apple under its App Store refund policy. We do not control and cannot directly issue App Store refunds.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
- access accounts or data you are not authorized to access;
- reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract source code, except as permitted by law;
- interfere with, disrupt, or place undue load on the Service or its infrastructure;
- circumvent security or authentication, or misuse others' data;
- resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our permission.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, the Bramble name and logo, and the “Bram” character, is owned by Onbramble Inc. or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
10. User content
You may enter information such as goal names, notes, and categories (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display it solely to operate and improve the Service. You are responsible for your User Content and represent that you have the rights to provide it.
11. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties — including Apple, Stripe, Supabase, RevenueCat, and Resend — and may link to third-party sites or content. We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. See our Privacy Policy for the providers we use.
12. Disclaimers of warranties
13. Limitation of liability
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Onbramble Inc. and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
15. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings in the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution) will survive.
16. Governing law & dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and by applicable US federal law.
Except where prohibited, the parties will first try to resolve any dispute informally by contacting support@onbramble.com. If a dispute is not resolved, it may be subject to binding arbitration on an individual basis and a waiver of class actions, seated in the State of Delaware and governed by Delaware law. Nothing prevents either party from seeking relief in small claims court where available.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
