How the free trial and billing work
Your 3-day free trial starts when you activate the subscription during onboarding. You are not charged during the trial. When it ends, your plan renews at $4.99/month or $39.99/year — whichever you chose — billed through your Apple App Store account, and renews automatically until you cancel. To avoid a charge, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends from Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone. Prices are in USD. Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policy.
